The start of 2026 brings some updated rules which we are excited to share with you!

Most are minor changes for clarity and consistency.

    The changes are as follows:
    1.12 Course Direction:
Entering a gate out of order or in the wrong direction will now result in time stopping and an immediate reposition.
This applies to any part of the vehicle

    2.1.1 (General):
Clarification that exposed driveshafts, axle shafts, and motors are not considered a source of propulsion provided they are in compliance with the standard set in the rules

    2.2.5, 2.3.5, 2.4.9 (Super, Pro, Mini classes):
Wording changed to read “Vehicle body or bodiless” meaning that it must meet spec with either a body or the bodiless chassis.
Having a bodiless truck with a body mounted is allowed provided that one of the 2 meets the minimum dimensions

    2.6.1.2 (Performance Scale General Specs):
Clarification that, as was already stated previously on Section 6: Body, there is no possibility to add parts or components to the body to meet minimum specs.
A full body composed of one singular piece from the grille to the B-Pillar is required

    2.6.1.5 (Performance Scale General Specs):
Minimum body height has been reduced to 4.25”/108mm

    2.6.1.7 (Performance Scale General Specs):
Narrowing or Sectioning of bodies is now only allowed from the B-Pillar backwards. N
Narrowing or sectioning the body forward of the B-Pillar is no longer allowed

2.6.2.4 (Performance Scale Tires and Wheels):
An exemption was added to allow for vent holes in the tires.
A maximum of 4 1/8”/3.125mm holes is permitted

2.6.2.7 (Performance Scale Tires and Wheels):
Foams are no longer required to be hidden from view.
    Wheel construction restrictions remain unmodified

We are looking forward to a great 2026 and we hope to see everyone out on the rocks soon!
