And you did what should always be done on a second hand, and even a new rig.... Take it all apart and have a good look at it.
From factory sometimes you catch all kinds of crap like zero grease on the gears. and if you buy used then it's an even bigger box of surprises!!!

The oilite bushing is a great mod for the XR10, it just gives peace of mind replacing such a small bearing...
Looks like I missed this post! Hehe..
    But thank you
Its a piece of mind to go through the rig and to do a real check-up on each part. Especially on these XR10's where the axles have reputation for not being the strongest

I removed that awful green skin, and revealed that nice carbon chassis and a early Krawler Konzept hood skin
Got it setup to my Sanwa MT-4S, and took it for a testdrive.

Started working on the front shocks, as the springs had some defects.

Changed oil to Losi 20wt, swapped out the rod end plastics, added some Dlux soft springs, and a 3D printed lower cup. Flipped the shocks around

I then proceeded to do the same thing on the front axle,
    specs:
    - All Axial Machined gears
    - Titanium upper shaft
    - Traxxas Oilite small bearing (I replaced this with new oilite)
    - VP alu transmission housing
    - Krazed Builds motorplate
    - VP Upper link mount and servo mount
    - VP C hubs
    - Dlux brass knuckles
    - Rowdy Racing battery mount
    - Team Brood Creep 35T motor

First of I started by cleaning the really bad knuckles
I removed the slugs inside the knuckles and addifitonal brass ring, as I felt the knuckle provided enough weight itself. I will play around with either Loaded Dice or Pat's weight hanger later on.

The axles are pretty well built from my understanding, but I disassembled them to give them a health check, swap bearings and grease them again.
    Lets start with rear axle

From my research, these are the specs:
    - 2 bolt mod
    - CreeperBob titanium axle shafts
    - All Axial Machined gears
    - Titanium upper shaft
    - Traxxas Oilite small bearing (I replaced this with new oilite)
    - VP alu transmission housing
    - Krazed Builds motorplate and upper link mount
    - BWD Blade stiffener
    - Axial alu lockouts
    - Team Brood Creep 35T motor

Assembled back together, motors will need new brushes and a comm cut later on, but they are good for now:

started a topic 2.2M SuDu Pro XR10 - Bad Viking

    2.2M SuDu Pro XR10 - Bad Viking

I have always wanted a MOA, and when I recently came across a SuDu Pro XR10 I jumped on the deal to get a decent entrance in to the 2.2M class
It has already been built and driven many years here in Norway.
Here it is when I recieved it:
